Water Mirrors is an edition of 25 Giclee prints on rag paper, abstracted from original paintings, and creating visual fugues; variations on water and the unconscious forms created when mirrored. By printing them on rag paper, the hand of the artist is still seen. For many, they look more like goauches or pastels than they look like prints. Curators and designers are my collaborators in choosing how far apart the prints are, and which side is on the left or the right. A fugue state is a dreamlike state of altered consciousness; and these prints effect emotions depending on how they are put together.
